Dewsall Court
As a venue like no other, Dewsall Court needed a website like no other to stand out and showcase everything it has to offer.
Dewsall Court is an exclusive-use venue nestled in the Herefordshire countryside, offering everything from weddings and parties to corporate retreats and family escapes. The magic of the place is palpable when you're there. The challenge was translating that feeling into a digital experience for visitors who might be hours away and weighing up their options.
The UX had to strike a careful balance: informative enough to satisfy practical questions and perform well for SEO, while still conveying the atmosphere that makes Dewsall special. We designed a customer journey that draws visitors into the story of the venue, building an emotional connection before they've even set foot on the grounds. Personal stories behind each thoughtfully curated space guide the user through the site, turning a browsing session into something closer to a visit.
Visually, the brand drew inspiration from the owner's love of ink-blot artwork. A close collaboration between our design team and Dewsall's own graphic designer brought that vision into the UI, giving the site a distinctive, artistic quality that feels true to the venue itself.
The challenge was building an emotional connection with a place you've never been, through a screen.
